There are many ways you can help us with the annual Mentoring Kids Fishing Derby!

Donations collected help us to purchase all the items needed for the event, such as the fishing equipment, bait, food, etc.

We also need volunteers, especially boat captains!!! In order to ensure that all the kids have an opportunity to spend more time out on the lake, we need people with boats who are willing to travel to Patagonia Lake, Arizona. Boat captains will host a child and their adult mentor on their craft for a morning of fishing. The kids will have their own rods & reels, bait and life jackets provided. If you don't have a boat, we can still use your help on shore getting the kids ready to embark on their adventure, launching boats or with lunch preparation before they return. If you are tournament angler in need of fulfilling your community service requirement, this event would be a great way for you to do so! To sign up as a volunteer, please complete the form below.

By registering to volunteer, I understand that there are inherent risks for any outdoor activity and I hereby waive Kahuna's Kids, other hosts and event sponsors of any liability. BOATERS must carry valid boater insurance. BOATERS promise to abide by all fishing and boating regulations and will ensure that their guests do as well.
